Abishek and Rekha’s Story: Jab We Met!

It was December 2008.  A charming boy from Chicago made plans to bring in New Years in Las Vegas. Coincidentally, a girl from small town Eufaula (two hours south of Atlanta) also decided to make a trip to Vegas for New Years.  Little did they know what destiny had planned for the New Year.

On New Years Eve, Abhishek and his buddies were partying it up at Tao, a popular club at the Venetian.  Meanwhile, Rekha and her girlfriends were bringing in the New Year at a party at the Westin Hotel.  Cupid came in the form of a common friend who decided to unite the two groups together. Decked out in dresses and stilettos everyone walked the strip to the Venetian, only to be disappointed as plans had changed.  The night ended at the bar at the Hard Rock hotel with good friends and great company, but the best was yet to come.  In Rekha’s mind the suspense grew.  Who was the Abhishek, that they walked all over Vegas to meet and still missed?
