I actually was planning the same things for my wedding except I’m not opting for bridesmaids at all…I don’t want anyone to feel left out and plan on doing everything else I can to make my friends feel special.

I agree with the bouquet toss..
the one that dives in the most eagerly just loses out on meeting any of the guys at the wedding..::desperate looking::

All in all, it worked out great! My bridesmaids looked great, and I am MOST looking forward to our upcoming and lovely honeymoon.

Great post! It’s funny because:
1. I opted to *not* do a bridal shower because it seemed excessive.

2. I hated the idea of mandating a bridesmaid’s ‘uniform’, so I chose the color and had them choose dresses of their own liking (and budget).

3. No bouquet toss or cake saving!

4. We are doing the honeymoon much later so we have more time to plan, relax and enjoy it (not to mention time to accumulate spending money and vacation days off from work).
